Zend Framework – it’s about time!
July 27, 2006
I’ve been reading the Zend Framework manual and from what I see, this endeavor by the Zend guys will add more power to PHP development. I am actually excited to get my hands dirty and be one of the first to try out their preview release.
Notable Features:
* ZActiveRecord – object-relational mapping
* ZMail – mail facility
* ZSearch – Lucene-based full-text search facility
….much much more!
Rails inspired MVC framework to me. "Extreme Simplicity" the ultimate goal of the project. I just don’t know if they can really maintain that goal in the long run. It doesn’t work that way in most cases. But hey, they’re the PHP company!

Google Earth software is a hefty 13MB file download for its worth. Sure it loads KML files, those 3D maps/buildings and landscape but for us who just want a taste of the updated maps of Google Map, I have the perfect site to share! Try wikimapia.org for a testdrive.
Pirates of the Caribben: Dead Man’s Chest
July 17, 2006
Last saturday, I watched the Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man’s Chest movie. I’d say it’s worth my money. Topping the Spiderman on it’s first three days of release is unquestionable. Comical Capt. Jack made the whole pirate story as lively as possible
Do you think Captain Jack is Gay?
